Format LinkedIn Posts & Live Preview the Fold
Add bold and italic Unicode text, structure with clean bullets, and preview the mobile & desktop "See more" fold before hitting publish.
The "...see more" fold is active. Make sure your opening hook lands fully above it to maximize click-through rates.
How does the bold & italic generator work?
LinkedIn's composer does not natively support rich formatting. PostFont uses mathematical bold and italic Unicode alphabets (known as mathematical alphanumeric symbols). These symbols look like styled letters but travel anywhere copy-pasted text goes, including post bodies, headlines, and comments.
Reach & Accessibility Notes
Since formatted Unicode text utilizes symbols rather than normal fonts, screen readers may read them character-by-character or skip them completely. For accessibility, keep your core message in plain text and use bold or cursive highlights exclusively for accent keywords.
The LinkedIn "See More" Fold
The dashed line in the preview panel indicates where LinkedIn will truncate your post. Getting readers to click "See More" is the single most important signal to the algorithm. Keep your most compelling hook above this line to maximize post reach.
